- The reflective coating can be either diachronic and aluminium.
- A diachronic coating is a thin and multi-layer non metallic film that allows infrared radiation from the filament capsule to pass through the reflector while it reflects visible light forward.
4. Shaft of light control.
- The MR16’s optical alignment gives it more accurate optical control than R and PAR lamps.
- MR16 lamps have confined beams and the light power drops sharply at the edge of the beam.
